It’s been almost a year
May. 1st, 2012 05:55 pmNow that May is here, it’s got me realizing that summer – and the month of June – are right around the corner. You know what happened last June? X-men First Class came out.
It was so cool. I fell head over heels for my OTP from that movie, Azazel and Riptide. I was in a fanfic wonderland – would step away from my computer for just a few hours and have a few new reviews of my fic. Not to mention that I enjoyed other people’s fic, fanart, fanvids, and having dialog with them on our comm.
Although I tend to stick with a fandom longer than most people, my interest has definitely cooled off; it’s been pretty cool since around the new year. But I miss it. I miss being so into an OTP and I miss such an active fandom. I guess there’s nothing quite like getting way into a fandom and pairing, and connecting with others who felt the same.
