I think I do need to ask for help with something. Someone on here has got to know more about this than I do.

I'll be interviewing for a job within my company. I am told that I have to come to the interview with a portfolio - a nicely bound book (or notebook, or just something that looks professional) with my cover letter, resume, accomplishments, development plans, etc. I've been working all morning on the content, but I know nothing about how to take the Word documents and get them into a book or something that looks good and professional.

Does anyone have any ideas? I tried Snapfish but they don't do this. I called Kinkos but either I didn't explain myself well or the person didn't understand. Maybe I just go to a different Kinkos in person with hard copies and with the files on a jump drive? Do I google 'print shops'? I will take any ideas you have.

A friend showed me a sample of hers that she did in Power Point, but I asked someone at our company and she said that just handing them a Power Point deck won't cut it. It needs to be pulled together on nice paper, bound in some sort of notebook or something like that. That is the part I don't know how to do.

Edited in later - Okay, I just got off the phone with a small, local print shop. They have terrible hours (no evenings or weekends) but the guy sounded like he knew what I needed and can help. I am going to get there Friday before they close with my files on a jump drive. I think I will be okay. Whew!
