I voted today!
Oct. 26th, 2012 10:47 amI voted today! My boss is very flexible and I get to work from home one day a week, which makes this stuff a lot easier. My city has early voting at the village hall.
It was cool to see that tons of people were there voting too! We had to fill out a form, were given a number, and then waited for it to be called. Then we got up, stood in a short line, showed our ID, the clerk filled out another form, and then we went to a very short line where we waited for a voting booth. That was it, all done. They had it organized efficiently; from the time I entered village hall to the time I left, it was less than 30 minutes.
Polls show the presidential race is neck and neck, so I guess it wasn't a total surprise that there were so many voters there on a work day. Our state isn't a swing state though.
