Gratitude list
Feb. 8th, 2023 05:36 pm- I'll start with fandom stuff! In his latest Cameo to me, Sachin had nail polish on and he said it's because he's filming something - YES! And I'm assuming it's TV or a movie that he's filming; I think if he was just making an audition video, he'd have said so
- And again on fandom, I know I've said it before, but I am just glad that Sinclair remains popular with The 100 fandom on Reddit. For a character who was only in 20 episode of a 100-episode show, he gets mentioned a lot and it's almost always very positive. (In fact, I don't recall ever hearing a negative comment on him)
- Lunch with my former coworker Kris last Saturday was a lot of fun. And I texted my former boss Dave a Happy Birthday message today. I told him he's "one of my favorite people ever" and he replied with "I feel the same way about you"
- Today I drove to work. This is only the second time I've driven there, and last time it was before the pandemic. (I had something heavy to bring to the office, and I didn't want to pay for an Uber). Normally I take public transit (I used to Uber sometimes too, but not since I'll be moving to a lower-paying job in May. Need to cut out expensive stuff like unnecessary Uber trips). I get nervous about driving because our parking garage is confusing and I don't like city driving, but all went well. Somehow I manuvered my car into that tiny spot.
- Friday there was a windchill advisory. Made me grateful for having a house. (Even though it's 120 years old and blah). And a coworker lost her mother on Sunday, which made me grateful to have a mother. And along those lines, last week Doris only got home before 7PM one day that week. I didn't love that, but hey - at least she has a job and one that she likes.
