I'm sorry that I haven't been doing anything to add to my "get out of your comfort zone" list. I wonder if instead of trying to do 51 things maybe I should course-correct. Maybe what I need to do are 1 or 2 "bigger" things? At work I went to a session on continuous learning. Maybe it's time to take another class like the Project Mgmt certification I did a few years ago? I enjoyed it well enough and the company paid the tuition, though the downside is that honestly I don't use anything I learned in it.

Gratitude:

- As mentioned last time, I went to Postcards to Swing States the day after 4th of July. Then the next day I was scheduled to staff the Dems table at the farmer's market, and I passed out flyers on Postcards. (Since so many people want volunteer opportunities other than canvassing). I felt useful

- Last weekend Doris made basil peach pie and a new thing called "farinata" and it was all so good!

- Weekend is almost here! I got a Dems meeting (where I might be getting an award?) and Scrabble with Ann

- Small points but.....a year or so ago, I bought these organic leggings. I didn't like them. They were too tight on the waist. So I put 'em away. Pulled them out again and now I love them. They fit right and feel good. Weird because I sure did not lose any weight since then (in fact my weight is a little higher now). Maybe they needed a few washings.

- Fandom and fic writing: all good! I'm at 16,000 words in my new fic and can't wait to start posting it tomorrow! 2 of my beta testers love it. I did a sneak peak of the fan art and got 4 hearts on Discord. I also got great comments on the epilogue of my previous one, and the epilogue netted 19 new kudos (which makes it my highest kudo-ed fic ever, at 372). Two people messaged me as soon as I posted the epilogue.

Yay that the pants are good now! I've had things like that before, I do think sometimes they need a wash (or several) to get comfy.

Is there a link for Postcards for Swing States? I looked on their site and couldn't find it, but I'm sure I'm just looking in the wrong spot since I had that problem before. My mom suggested that she might be open to it too!

What's a farinata?

Are there any classes that sound good/interesting to you? Even if you don't end up using it at work, if there's something that sounds like it would be interesting, that might be fun?

Farinata is basically bread made out of chickpeas and topped with oil, basil, and tomatoes. So good.

Well that's the problem on classes. There are not work-related classes on "How to market your fanfic" so.... :)
