If the shoe fits...

The lovely denisia mentioned a shoe company called Rocket Dog. I'm browsing on their website and I like their shoes. But I want your opinion too. Which shoe do you like the best?

Here's what I'm looking for: a dressy *flat* shoe that I can wear with a dress to a semi-formal event. Yes yes, I know. Women are supposed to wear high-heels for any dressy occasion. Well, if *you* want to wear them, then that's shiny but I pass on the heels because they hurt like all hell! (My chiropractor even says never to wear them, unless you want back, foot, and leg problems). So here are some flats I like. Which do you like, which do you think would look good with a dress?

I know Rocket Dog! I work in DSW; we've got all three of those flats and a trillion more that I shlep through Clearance every day. Obviously I don't know what color your dress or whathaveyou is, but all three of those would definitely work. Word to the wise, though, those gold ones (which also come in pink and black, silver too I think) are really flimsy, not much support. I'm thinkin' red or sparkly. (The sparkly come in black and silver, too.)

You work at DSW? Oh wow! I rarely buy shoes but when I do, that's the only place I go nowadays.

Thank you very much for the advice about the one that doesn't have much support. I'll get me over to the DSW so I can feel around which ones fit me and would have enough support. So glad you carry these!

I really really like the sparkly ones. I'm going through a phase where I buy all kinds of sparkly shoes, though, so keep that in mind. I'm very fond of the pseudo-lacing on the gold pair up top, but I'm not as fond of the sort of gold they are.

i'd have to cast my vote for the 3rd pair as well. i agree with sesana, i dont really dig the color gold the first pair is (but might be ok in another color). i like the 2nd pair also but from personal experience, i cant wear shoes like this as they are constantly falling off my feet. only potential problem with the sparklies would be if the color doesnt go right with what you want to wear them with.
