Even though I've been busy working at a convention since Monday, plot bunnies have been attacking me like mad and I have a ton of detailed notes for my next Firefly fic! I am very excited about it. Although Zoe/Wash are still featured in a major way, I am enjoying writing Simon/Kaylee too.

I do have a question for the group. Any idea how to correctly identify a fic that has multiple pairings and has other non-pairing themes? Since my fic has both Z/W and S/K, do I call both couples out in the part where I describe the fic? But how do I also denote that it's more than a romance fic and features the other themes and characters too?

In other fanfic news, I am delighted with the positive and numerous reviews I received of my last fic, Hanging in the Balance when I posted it on Wifesoup. I am less thrilled with the fact that it has zero reviews on ffnet, despite having 86 hits since I posted it last night. But it honestly doesn't bother me so much since people on LJ liked it. :)

I know whatcha mean. I only have two stories there and only one has reviews on it. :( almost makes ya wanna take it down. oh well the other story was just me tryin' to get another story up and looks through old journals. it wasn't that good.
Sorry that I didn't get yo on FF.N but I wasn't sure if you wanted lots of re ... who am I kidding? There's no such thing as "too many reviews". :)

Hon, you are a class act when it comes to reviewing and you have no need to say you're sorry on anything that has to do with reviews. Whether it's on ffnet or Flower and Leaf, you always do leave a review and for that I am very grateful. I seriously appreciate each review you have left.

And I empathize with you about low numbers of reviews. Do you think it's just because there are so many FF stories that each story gets kinda lost in the shuffle? Or do you think people are just lazy about reviewing?

I think it's a bit of both. I like to review stories. Especially if it's Firefly. For now anyway. I mean if you review the author can only get better. I like to encourage writers to keep writing the things I like to read. It is kind of selfish. :D

But it is great of you to do it. Most every author I know wants feedback and concrit, and it's great of you to provide it.
