- Three day weekend! And Doris is off the entire time (though she will be spending half of Sunday doing accounting stuff for her mom. Fun)

- I mentioned last time doing Postcards to Swing States, and posting on social media about it. When I went back on Monday, 2 other volunteers said they were there because of my post!

- I wrote a bit of fic this week

- The show Timeless is awesome! Going to watch the final episode today

- Having some time last Sunday when the weather was good and Doris was home, so I sat on the back porch reading while she gardened. Honestly that is just the life I want

- Still been sleeping like a baby. Had some mild anxiety Saturday night but used my brain powers to knock it back. Been feeling really good

- My boss and I were both in the office on Wednesday. She paid me 2 great compliments! (She said I looked good and she told our team how great I did on my presentation)

- Actor news! My favorite actor from Spartacus (Antonio....who is Maori and lives in New Zealand) announced that he is going to be in a Disney-sponsored, Maori-language version of The Lion King! The downside....he's playing Ed who as far as I can tell is stupid and evil. But this looks to be a large production (I mean, it's Disney), so a good role nonetheless as others on the Discord have pointed out. (And hey, it's not the first bad guy he's played unfortunately).

Yeah, three day weekend! *tosses confetti* It's mild weather here too, which is great, because often it's swelteringly hot. Back porch reading sounds nice.

I've been trying to fight off like three different plot bunnies at once. I've written a couple things, actually finished them, but I'm still getting new ideas. ALL for fic, not anything I can use for original stuff. But I guess having that spark alive is good?

It's not TOO hot, which is nice. I dislike it being literally any hotter than this.

I 100% am with you on the life you want! I want to chill on the swing, and read, and watch shows, and play scrabble with you, and do classes at the gym, and work on puzzles, and take naps, and stuff like that! I have thought about those programs they have at movie theaters where you pay a flat fee and can see multiple movies a month, and I might do that, or just go the movies on tuesdays when they have the special pricing or whatnot.

Always love compliments from the boss! And great news about Antonio! It sucks to always be the bad guy but sometimes the bad guy parts are meaty!

We had some pretty good time together, though she did have to do more accounting stuff for her mom. And on one of the days, there was no parking because of some festival so she had to go back the next day to finish the job. :(
