- Warnock won!!

- And the Respect for Marriage Act will be signed into law

- Another really good weigh-in, which surprises me a bit

- I was desperate for a gay-themed Christmas movie. I even rewatched Single All the Way which truly doesn't merit a second watch. :) My friend Mia recommended a Spanish-language short show called Smiley; it's like a gay-themed Christmas miniseries. It totally hit the spot

- Game night on Saturday

- And next month will be Doris' and my 21st anniversary. We talked about it; I really want to do something to celebrate. So we are going to go an afternoon tea in Downers Grove and stay overnight at a hotel

- Fan stuff. First, I decided that I will go to Fan Expo in Vancouver in February! One, Alessandro will be there. And two, it gives me another crack at going to see Sachin; it gives me a reason to be in Vancouver. I am going to message him with words to the effect of 'Hey, is that offer for coffee or dinner still available? I will be in Vancouver on Feb 18 and 19 for Fan Expo, and would gladly ditch the expo to grab a cup of coffee with you!'

- Also fan stuff....A few weeks ago, Sachin did a Cameo for me about his love for wrestling. I suggested he post some vids to his VIP group on Cameo. And...he did. I think the guy actually listens to me? It had been an entire year since he'd posted in there. (And speaking of which, this is funny. There's a charge from Cameo to be in the VIP group. Sachin hadn't posted in so long that I'd cancelled out of the VIP. And of course he posts in there a day or two before my cancellation was to take effect).

- Today - Sunday - was pretty great. It started with a massage from Beata and then waffles and hot cocoa from Doris. Then Doris left to go to her mom's which was not the great part. But I was determined to have a fun day, and I did. I went to downtown OP. I visited a coffeehouse which someone told me had vegan donuts. OMG they were great and they also had a vegan sandwich. Then I walked to the indie bookstore. I got a cookbook with the title "Eat Plants Bitch" so of course I bought it. And I saw that Emma Donoghue has a new novel out and just from the description, I knew it was exactly what I wanted to read like right now. Then I went to the upscale resale shop Trends....they'd donated a gift card to benefit the Oak Park Festival Theater. I won the gift card, and so today I spent it on 2 lovely items, one of which I'll wear to the office this week. I got a pedi. And then ended my day with a cup of tea and the Donoghue book which is truly exactly what I hoped for. (And edited to add in....and Doris returned from her mom's sooner than usual and we were able to watch an ep of Warrior Nun)
