- Doris and I had tea at Pine Cone Cottage to celebrate our 21st anniversary. It was lovely. The tea pots were so pretty and the varieties of tea were nice. Can't believe they were able to do every course of the meal totally vegan but they did. Favorites were the scone and the cranberry crumble

- I must say one more time that Downton Abbey was so good! Like this is how TV should be. (And we still have both movies yet to watch!)

- This coming Saturday, I am going to have lunch with my old work friend (she's long since moved to another company) Kris. The inside of my car has been filthy for years so I finally got it professionally cleaned and it feels great to have that done. Wanted to get it cleaned since Kris is going to drive to my place first and then we're going to the restaurant together in my car.

- Got the wedding photos from Ann's wedding and they are great! I must've gone through them 10 times just to relive the day. And everyone looked lovely!

- Jalapeno peanut brittle. My food coop has vegan jalapeno peanut brittle. My life will never be the same.

- Still so happy about the impending job change! It's so weird to be leaving a job and team I love. But the reasons for the change are vast, and I've already posted them here so I wont repeat them. Ann wants to take me out to celebrate - yay! (We just gotta figure out where and when).  And also, I mentioned before it's a pay cut which is not great. But I spoke to Doris and her income last year was actually a bit higher than I'd thought. (She said it was 70. I had guessed 50-60). So another indication that we'll be fine.

I'm so glad you had a good time at pinecone cottage! And so nice that they had a fully vegan option for you (and that they were tasty!)

I keep looking through the photos too! There is a teeny bit of 'wish we had...' but mostly I just love looking at them and seeing how happy everyone is. The smiles, the dancing, everyone looking so happy. It was wonderful.

I have a list of ideas, going to try to come up with a few more - when do you think would be good to celebrate? I need to look at my calendar too, things are starting to get scheduled! So happy for you with the job, and that you have a plan in place, and that you'll be just fine financially :)
